PETA Protests Chicken Dance At NASCAR Race

TALLADEGA, Ala. — PETA is taking on what it describes as a new affront to animals: NASCAR fans doing the chicken dance.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals asked Guinness World Records Inc. on Monday to ignore an attempt to set a world record for the largest group chicken dance at the Talladega Superspeedway, site of the Aaron’s 499 race on Sunday.
The reason? KFC is the sponsor of the record attempt, and the animal rights group says the fast-food company is cruel to chickens.
A KFC spokesman defended the company’s treatment of animals and said it hoped to get 125,000 race fans involved in the mass dance.
As one observer said, “I think PETA is worried that the chickens will die of laughing too hard.”
KFC cruel to chickens? NO!! KFC is cruel to me and my husband! Last week we got a BUCKET and there was no meat on the bones in the BUCKET. We were totally blown away by the raw deal we got from KFC. So if any one is cruel it’s the people who aren’t feeding those darn chickens!!

I would love to see 300,000 race fans do the chicken dance. From the video’s you attached it appears that it is a dance that has been around a very long time. I would rather see that record broken for Guiness than how much snot you can blow out of your nose or something.
Anyway, chickens around the world will not be shocked since they can’t clap, and only wiggle when they lay an egg. I would think they would be proud to have themselves portrayed as fun loving creatures.

I’m thinkin’ chicken dance fund raiser. Bob can be our main attraction. I would pay at least 25$ just to see him wiggle it just a little bit.
Then we will all blow snot out of our nose into a giant pile and call Guiness for the biggest snot pile. I just got done mowing the lawn and I think I inhaled too many fumes. It did take two hours!!
